Ben Seymour

Ben has always wanted to work in sport in some capacity. He studied Football Studies and Business at University before travelling around the world, playing and coaching football and experiencing how the game can connect people across different countries and cultures. His career began on the training ground, coaching within professional club environments including Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion. During that time, Ben helped develop players who went on to build careers in the professional game and are still playing today. Seeing those players progress remains one of the parts of his career he is proudest of. He later moved into the commercial side of sport, working within an agency across a varied mix of rights holders. That journey has taken him from football and cricket to motorsport, as well as globally recognised attractions such as the London Eye. It gave Ben an appreciation for what makes every property and audience different, and why the best partnerships need to be built around more than simply selling an available asset. Ben co-founded Quinta Sports Group with Barry to bring those experiences together. His approach remains influenced by his time in coaching: understand people, recognise potential and create an environment in which everyone can succeed. For Ben, the most valuable partnerships are those that feel natural, add something meaningful to the fan experience and give everyone involved room to grow. Ben will happily watch almost any sport, although football will always be his first passion. He occasionally attempts to play golf, with varying degrees of success, and is usually more likely to be found hacking his way around a course. Away from work, he has two children and takes enormous pride in watching them flourish through their own sports, interests and hobbies

Barry Higson

Barry’s career in sport began on the pitch, playing football until a serious injury at 21 brought that chapter to an early end. It led him into sales and, eventually, into the commercial side of sport, where he has built a career around sponsorship, partnerships and creating new revenue opportunities. His experience spans professional football, horse racing, sports media, betting and gaming, and creator-led content. During his career, Barry has worked with organisations including IMG, The Jockey Club, Platform Media, Charlton Athletic and Low6. This has given him experience across the rightsholder, agency and media sides of the industry, as well as a strong understanding of what both brands and sports organisations need from a successful partnership. His work has covered commercial strategy, sponsorship development, media and content partnerships, fan engagement and the negotiation of complex, high-value agreements. He combines a strong commercial focus with a relationship-led approach, always looking to create partnerships that work for everyone involved. Barry co-founded Quinta Sports Group with Ben after seeing how quickly the sponsorship market was changing. Too many partnerships were still being built around inventory and visibility, while brands increasingly wanted measurable impact, cultural relevance and a genuine connection with fans. At the same time, rightsholders needed a more creative and flexible way to package and commercialise their assets. Quinta was created to bridge that gap, combining traditional sponsorship rights with content, media, creators, data and fan engagement. Together, Barry and Ben work with brands and rightsholders to find the right fit and build partnerships that create genuine, long-term value. Football and horse racing are Barry’s first sporting loves, but the truth is he will watch almost any sport, at any level, and rarely needs much persuading to attend a live event.
